TAMRIN GOLDBERG originally from Seattle, is a Brooklyn-based performer and choreographer. Theatre credits include: EVER AFTER (Alliance Theatre), WEST SIDE STORY (Barrington Stage), OKLAHOMA! (Goodspeed Musicals), OKLAHOMA! (Berkshire Theatre Group), TAMAR OF THE RIVER (Prospect Theatre Company), and I DREAM (Toledo Opera, Opera Carolina). Tamrin is a member of Marisa Michelson's Constellation Chor, and has performed with the New York Philharmonic in Ashley Fure’s Filament.
Her work has been featured at the Secret Theater in Long Island City, the Yale University Dramatic Association, the Harlem Village Academies, and at the Zichri Theater in Israel. In 2017, she choreographed the Astoria Performing Arts Center’s revival of RAISIN, for which she received the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Choreography. Tamrin was most recently the Associate Movement Director for LA SUSANNA in the Heartbeat Opera's spring season at BAM and The Kennedy Center.
As a dancer, Tamrin has worked with notable choreographers including Larry Keigwin, Kyle Abraham, Sidra Bell, Caitlin Trainor, Chase Brock, Nathan Trice and Takehiro Ueyama. She holds a degree in dance and philosophy from Barnard College.
